Airodump-ng with native wireless driver on Windows

EDIT: This was an April Fool :)

Altought this is not a final version (a work in progress), here is a version of airodump-ng that works on windows with the native drivers of your wireless card.

Here is a screenshot of the application:

Nearly all drivers in windows XP are NDIS. So, to allow/enable monitor mode in the drivers, you have to install a special "driver". Because MS may not like it, I prefer to distribute is via bittorrent: native_rfmon_winxp.torrent

Note: It was tested on Windows XP and with an Intel Pro/Set Wireless 2200. And it requires .NET 2.0.
Note 2: If your wireless card isn't listed, it means the adapter is disabled and you'll have to enable it and restart the application (Right click on "My Network Place" then select "Properties". In the list, right click on your wireless adapter and click on "Enable"). In the final version, it will be fixed and will only list wireless interfaces.

    Wow, it just took me 5 minutes to install the driver and I can see everything :).

    Is it possible to record data? Will you do a linux version and a version for OSX?

    It's not yet possible to record data at the momenet but that will be possible in the final version.

    There is no Linux or OSX version planned.

    It seems that it worked well :)

    Btw, the bittorrent file is a fake, there's nothing in it, just a few space characters.

    About the video, a real one make this april fool more real and having a blurry video wasn't my intention at all (I'll use a real camcorder and a tripod next time (unless I have to do a video to show one of our tool, I should use Camtasia.

    I'm sorry, I had to filter out some comments for this april fool.

    I can believe that ppl dont just install ubuntu or whatever linux so they can run it. Its free and easy. You want the program bad enough, run the OS it runs in. Took me about 30 minutes the first time. In fact, now I run Linux as my main OS.
